Dear ESLAV members

the Board proposes to open two additional positions within the current ESLAV Board. As we are moving into a more professional Society and as next year marks the 30th anniversary of ESLAV, additional support will be required to effectively plan and deliver associated activities and initiatives. Broadening the Board’s composition would further strengthen its perspective and diversity.

The ESLAV Board convenes online once per month. In addition, specific projects (e.g. the organisation of webinars) are coordinated and discussed via email as needed.

Board members serve a three-year term and may stand for re-election once, for a maximum total service period of six years.

We are particularly seeking motivated and committed members who are willing to actively contribute to the further development of the Society and to support initiatives aimed at strengthening its growth and membership engagement.

Elections will be held on June 4th, during the ESLAV AGM.

As per the bylaws ‘Every candidate for membership to the Governing Board shall be proposed in writing by at least two Members of the Society. Every nomination, together with the candidates’ consent to stand for election, shall be sent to the Secretary of the Society so as to reach him no less than 4 weeks before the AGM‘.

Please send your complete nomination to ESLAV Secretary no later than May the 6th.
